2011 MID-COLUMBIA
WOMEN’S SOCCER LEAGUE

We are very happy to announce the launch of the Mid-Columbia Women’s Soccer League!
Players of all ability levels are invited to join as individuals or teams.
- 6 v 6 game format on ½-size fields
- high-school-age women and older are welcome.

DATES

APRIL 1^st 5 PM – 1st session will be an organized but fun practice, appropriate for all levels of players, with lots of touches on the ball. BRING AT LEAST ONE BALL. Dress in soccer shin guards & cleats, if you have them.

• 2^nd week - Fri 4/8 5:30 – 7PM, organized practice, BRING A BALL
• 3^rd week on – Friday 5:30 – 7PM games; schedules will be posted and updated on the website, www.stmaryshoodriver.com
• League end date – TBD (minimum 6 games per team)

Teams are welcome to schedule additional practices; if on schools fields, please schedule thru Community Ed & pay fees.

LOCATION

1501 Belmont Ave, Hood River, OR 97031

St Mary’s Catholic Church has agreed to host the league on their fields.
There is enough space to play two to four games, simultaneously.

After April 4th, registration forms are available on-line at www.stmaryshoodriver.com or in the youth ministry office at St Mary’s and can be sent in by mail (address on registration form), email (scan completed form), or delivered to St Mary’s.

If signing up as a team, please make sure at least one person includes a list of all players on your team. All individual players will be placed on a team. Registration form has a place to request team mates.

PHOTO FOR PLAYER CARD

• INCLUDE a small photo of your face (maximum 1” on a side) with your registration form, OR preferably
• EMAIL photo to jknapp4@gorge.net. To be cropped, as necessary.

COST

• $40 REGISTRATION PAYMENT
  CASH in an envelope marked with your name, or CHECK payable to “St Mary’s,” memo “women’s soccer”
• Plus ~$2/player/week -- each team is responsible for paying the ref $13 before each game starts.

UNIFORMS

• Estimate 6+ teams. Teams are assigned a color and each player supplies their own jersey, T-shirt, or pinny.
